Psalm 116: 5-6 & 8-9

"The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The Lord protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me. For you, O Lord, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living."

I seek to find rest here. This is my place to dwell in the Lord and journal His providence and blessings in my life. This is my place to seek His truth through His Word. Only in Him can I find peace and refuge.

I have such a deep, deep love for my Lord. I praise him and offer thanks for sacrificing His son, Jesus Christ, so that I may have eternal life. Thank you, Jesus!

"that I may walk before the Lord..." Psalm 116:9

may... a key word. He has granted us through His grace this precious, precious gift, that we MAY walk in His presence. That we MAY stand before the King of Kings and find rest at His glorious feet.

The lyrics to a song I just love ring so true in my heart,

"The more I seek you, the more I find you. The more I find you the more I love you. I want to sit at your feet, drink from the cup in your hand, lean back against you and breath. Feel your heartbeat. This love is so deep, it's more than I can stand. I melt in your peace, it's overwhelming."

Thank you, Jesus. I can't wait! You are the love of my life.
